EXACTLY! And a brilliant idea for a new news site!
While Onion and "SemiSatire SemiNews" has gotten obnoxiously trite, a go-to site that translates "Newspeak" into common sense.
As an example, imagine reading Obama's remark from yesterday with the Orwellian website keyring decoder:
"We're going around the country, talking about, ‘How have we put people out of work? How do we degrade our schools? How do we make sure that we're reducing American energy? How do we increase our debt in an irresponsible way?' And I think you or anybody who's been watching the campaign would say that in every way we have tried to divide the country. We've always tried to tear the country apart," President Obama (actually meant) in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
Reading his words first-off in this manner makes the discourse all the more civil, and less irritating. You know this is what he's saying, but this way, you don't have to tolerate him lying out loud.
Do ya think the Messiah will discuss this today in the Oval Office? Oops! This YouTube video has gone from 2,300 views yesterday early afternoon to the current count of over 200,000. Check it out. This doesn’t even account for the views on this website:
