When I was at the Ft. Riley/Funston/Leavenworth correctional facilities we used to immobilize the prisoners and shave/haircut whatever needed to be done. Why is this an issue?
If it is because of PC, or the Army is now pussified, or whatever, we as a nation are doomed.

I have 2 suggestions:
1 - let him “participate” via video, he can speak to his attys via a direct phone line, I’m sure we have the technology for that. Defendants only speak to their attys in whispers anyway, so no biggie there.
2 - if he really, really, really doesn’t want a trial, he can just be shot at dawn tomorrow. As with OBL no American, left or right, will care.

Sine he kept cleanly shaved while on active duty and planning his massacre I conclude he was a spy and an enemy combatant - either shoot him as a spy or send him to Gitmo.
