Campaigns use the term “Desperate” as derogatory when applied to their opponent. Campaigns always want to appear in control and confident of victory.

Replacing a sitting vice president 3 weeks before the convention would be the very height of desperation, akin to an actor with a severe case of flop sweat.

It would do far more harm then good and if Clinton goes on the ticket in Bidens place the coming loss will finish her political aspirations for the WH forever.

I don’t know why people here attribute all kinds of normal scruples to democrats.

If they bring in Hilary there is an adoring press that loves the Clintons even more than they ever loved the Obamas. It will be portrayed as a masterstroke and there won’t be much time spent worrying about “desperation”.

Maybe Obama won’t do it but frankly I don’t see a downside. We’d have to regroup and get back the old Clinton hatred, whereas many republicans have been playing the game of saying that Hilary and the Bill Clinton era were so great.

And yes, that includes our gal Sarah, she has been praising Hilary Clinton for 4 years now.
