I am sure that the criticism for Ben & Jerry's can be found somewhere later in the article.

Do liberals think a license is required to preach in America?

What kind of country would we be if licenses were required?

Since when does serving up junk food give someone a license to preach?"

People who serve up junk thought do it all the time.

They’re coming undone. The show’s only going to get better between now and November. I love the smell of desperation in the morning. Smells like ... victory.

“while the burger slingers out West at In-N-Out can’t serve up a cheeseburger without a Bible verse,”

Not “can’t”, sweetheart - “won’t”.

Snarky little thing, ain’t she?

Arrogant, self-absorbed “journ-O-list” who don’t understand the rest of the First Amendment (Freedom of Press only), and who think they’re better than everyone else even while pretending to be “tolerant” et al

They can fool themselves most of the time that their effete intellectual bi-coastal humanism is the dominant mode of thought in this country. But the numbers don't lie. Clearly the majority of America is perfectly comfortable with Chick-fil-A and Papa John's.

Where is the leftist outrage when George Clooney, Morgan Freeman, Susan Sarandon, Sean Penn, and a list of about a thousand other self-righteous minstrels preach to us? At least Papa Johns manufactures and markets a product instead of just reading a script written by a smarter person.

Why would anyone be interested in the political opinions of a food critic?

"We've got the Papa John's pizza guys weighing in on the health-care debate, while the burger slingers out West at In-N-Out can't serve up a cheeseburger without a Bible verse," Dvorak carped. Later in her Metro section column, she essentially compared the pizza chain to drug-running terrorists.

I would suggest that Ms Dvorak do the same as I. I do not patronized establishments that support an ideology that I do not agree with. Each and every Friday my wife brings home a Papa John's Pizza and occasionally a Papa Murphy's Pizza. We eat pizza and drink Fireman's #4 Pale Al made by a local micro brewery. I also occasionally get a meal from Chick-F-La

I do not object to companies that support an ideology different from mine. However, I will not patronized them.

=Ms Dvorak real complaint is that we do not have a "thought police" to enforce her ideology.

George Orwell was a true visionary. He did see the future. Let us hope we can defeat what he saw. He was also horrified by what he saw. Read more: http://newsbusters.org/blogs/ken-shepherd/2012/08/14/washposts-dvorak-grouses-about-conservative-politics-fast-food-chains#ixzz23YTESjrI

This shows just how ignorant liberals are.

Hey “food critic”, we all share the same rights to free speech that you do. If you enjoy your right to write about what others produce and give your impressions on how good or bad it is then so do we.

In fact, we have more of a right to voice our opinions as free citizens.

Classic left-wing arrogance and intolerance for any opinion but her own. These lefties live in a bubble and assume the entire country totally agrees with their political views. Hence, they are very annoyed when reality shows them otherwise and send off snarky, intolerant columns condemning fast food company owners for having the gall to use their First Amendment rights.

This kind of arrogance turns off most people and does the political left no good at all as it demonstrates their total disdain for anyone who may, gasp! disagree with them. Four years of Obama, who is arrogance-on-stilts personified, has left Americans with a bellyful of liberal condescension and little patience for these lefties snobs and their little screeds lamenting a contrary political POV.

Freedom of religion and freedom of speech gives them the right to “preach”, if they so desire, not the chicken, or the pizza.

WaPo gets the “stupid award” for this week.

The left continues to go after businesses that are run on conservative values, at their own peril. We can always have a “Papa John’s Appreciation Day”.
