To: The Cajun

Maybe Sarah is right and knows instinctively where she should be. In a strange sort of way, she has more clout now, sans official position, than she would have as a VP candidate.

She is the conscience of the Tea Party, and she may see her role better served from her position outside the government, where she can serve as the focus and embodiment of the movement — to the degree anyone can, of course.

But this endorsement of Romney/Ryan will go a long way towards generating excitement in the Conservative base.

It doesn’t take much parsing of that statement to note that it is a heck of a lot less “Yay Romney” than it is “Anyone but Obama” — even though she said gracious things about both of them.

Still, it’s going to have a major impact. If Sarah’s satisfied, most grassroots Conservatives are going to be satisfied as well.

Well this one is unless Romney goes total McCain and puts a lid on Ryan.
Don't see him doing that, if he does, Sarah will call him on it, I have no doubt.
