Yes. PHEW.
After a week marred by a not-ready-for-prime-time staffer who had movement conservatives questioning Team Romneys competence, sanity, and willingness to fight the brass-knuckles White House and Chicago thug operatives, the Romney campaign made the right decision.
And the Right decision
Paul Ryan is fresh, young, energetic, smart, courageous, and ready for prime time.
Paul Ryan is a policy wonk AND a front-line warrior whose budget and long-term entitlement reforms have the entire Dem-Soros-lapdog media machine unhinged.
Paul Ryan is ready to fight false media narratives.
Paul Ryan is battle-tested against the White House.
Paul Ryan wont cut and run when the going gets tough.
**snip**
Now, all together: FIGHT!

Ryan 2012 is Palin 2008, a bold Conservative choice in an otherwise old and tired GOPe ticket.

I absolutely agree! Paul Ryan was on my short list of preferred Presidential candidates going into the primaries. I like him a lot! I’d like him even more at the top of the ticket.

I voted for Rubio to get rid of Crist. But grouping Rubio with Conservatives is ridiculous.. In the next election, if a Conservative runs against Rubio - he or she will have my vote.

That is a great slogan

It may, and it may not, but I think Romney would have won FL handily, by a huge margin. IF and that is a big IF, the Dems can succeed in painting Ryan as a scary guy who’s going to take their benefits away, the seniors may not vote at all or vote D. I just wish Mitt had chosen someone with no baggage. No albatross the Dimwits can try to hang around his neck. I like Ryan a lot. I just don’t know if he was a wise choice. I would love to be proved wrong.

Thank you eeyore, but no one not even mcgovern gets numbers in the thirties. Stay off the drugs.
You don't even bother to check facts before you write:
Nominee Lyndon B. Johnson Barry Goldwater
Party Democratic Republican
Home state Texas Arizona
Running mate Hubert Humphrey William E. Miller
Electoral vote 486 52
States carried 44 + DC 6
Popular vote 43,127,041 27,175,754
Percentage 61.1% 38.5%
Nominee Richard Nixon George McGovern
Party Republican Democratic
Home state California South Dakota
Running mate Spiro Agnew Sargent Shriver (replacing Thomas Eagleton)
Electoral vote 520 17
States carried 49 1 + DC
Popular vote 47,168,710 29,173,222
Percentage 60.7% 37.5%
I suspect Ryan, like Shriver, will be replaced at some point.
The media will have a field day with this.

Shriver replaced a senator who had mental issues. Perhaps those issues need to be checked out by you. If you really think that this will be a blowout because of ryan, check the polls in a few months and then appologize.

Considering that "FORWARD" is an old socialist slogan, she's right. As foolish, intemperate, and deceitful as you are, it's been already noted on the thread that "Forward" is the official motto of Ryan's home state.
Anyone who thinks Michelle Malkin would use some kind of communist slogan is a bigger fool than I thought.

Where does he stand on abolishing the IRS and the Income Tax, re-instituting DADT, and for a twenty five year freeze on all federal hiring and pay raises?
Outlawing all "bonuses" to federal apparatchiks, and closing the Departments of Energy, Education, and the EPA?
He stands with the rest of the WASHINGTONIANS, off in the corner with a dunce cap on.

It all hinges on how well the Repubs get the message out. If they let Wasserman Schultz and Axelrod get by without exposing their lies, we will lose this election.
