Isn’t it possible to have two inspirations, one religious and one political philosophy? And, one could be somewhat contradictory to the other on certain issues, but both can be beneficial to restoring both faith and fiscal responsibility in this country.

It certainly is. I think Rand was a little wacko in her personal life, but that's not what drives her philosophy or many of her disciples. I'm not an Objectivist, but conservatives can certainly agree that Rand's books were strong arguments for constitutionally-limited government.
