This reminds me of the night we found out Sarah Palin was the VP choice. FreeRepublic, along with one other website, had the news first. I hope it's Paul Ryan. I know he's good in the Congress, but we also need someone lined up for 2020 (presuming Romney wins twice).

That was memorable, wasn't it? I can still remember that first picture I saw of her in an FR thread. FReepers had the whole thing sussed in no time, and were providing details about this new national figure almost immediately.
I could live with Paul Ryan as VP, though he is needed in Congress with the fiscal issues. I'm hoping someone will start a thread saying that Rep. Alan West was seen boarding Romney's jet!
