CNN Poll: Obama holds 7-point lead over Romney (Mega-Barf)

Washington (CNN) - Mitt Romney's unfavorable rating is up, most Americans think the Republican presidential challenger favors the rich, and the public no longer believes that the economy will get better if Romney is elected, according to a new national poll.

But a CNN/ORC International survey released Thursday also indicates that Romney's supporters are increasingly getting behind the presumptive GOP nominee.

It all adds up to a seven point advantage for President Barack Obama over the former Massachusetts governor, with 52% of registered voters questioned in the survey saying that they'd vote to re-elect the president and 45% backing Romney.

"Among independent voters, the poll indicates President Obama has a 53%-42% lead," CNN Polling Director Keating Holland said. "The president holds a nine point advantage among women voters and a smaller six point edge among men."

They obviously polled IDIOTS!

Many of them didn’t even know Chris Christy or Bobby Jindal...

Never heard of:

New Jersey Governor Chris Christie - 27%
Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal - 43%

That’s a pretty slim margin for CNN followers. That must mean that Mittens is in the lead in the rest of the country.

If the media is this vicious to Mitt, imagine what they would do to an ultra conservative? They would be dishing out twice as much negative press. This fight is as much a battle against the liberal media as it is against Obama.

Stupid liberal women are going to be the death of this country. If they drag him across the finish line, may they be among the first to lose their jobs and go broke.

I think you look at all these polls as moving targets. This far out they may not reflect the mood of the country come November voting. BUT, I do think that Willard has had a very bad summer and if people are only watching the MSM...they may have formed a negative impression about ol’ Willard....and that’s what some of these polls reflect.

Does it mean O is cruising to victory? I sure hope not. But Willard is not a conservative. He really isn’t. I personally don’t see how Willard get’s himself elected. But maybe he can find some way to turn his ship of fools around and win this election. :::shrug:::: I ain’t seeing it. So far his general election campaign has been one unforced error after another.

Lord help us if ol’ Willard loses. Lord help us.

Then why tell me or anyone to deal with it, when what happened to the selection is romney. If he's the nominee, which it appears, the choice is him or obama. No not a third party candidate.

I fear for our republic also. I see little hope beyond CHRIST returning. We have no one representing us in DC or in the gop. We have no place to go and we are being minimized daily by the gop/e. The Log Cabin gaylords of the gop are serving on the Republican Platform Committee... but I could not find a reference to any Conservative organization even being invited to serve. Watch the platform and watch the progressives win another battle.

Why so the GOPe gets their way? That is my major problem with this. Just a while back FREEPERS were saying they would NEVER vote for Romney under any circumstances. So in 2016 or 2020 when the GOPe nominates Bloomberg, everyone will say, “no way” but vote anyway. When does it stop?

“I lived in California at the time, and the networks called the race for Reagan in the afternoon Pacific time, before I even got a chance to go and cast my vote. I showed up at the polls with a big smile on my face. One of the women running the polling place was pissed at the networks for calling the race before the polls closed. Carter conceded early.

It was Reagan 489 Electoral College votes, 49 for Carter.”

Let’s face it. No Republican candidate is ever going to get anywhere close to Reagan’s electoral vote number. Maybe high 300’s to low 400’s but nothing higher. Plus to get these numbers the candidate would have to get anywhere from a seven to nine point lead in the popular vote.

Also be prepared for the networks not to call the election for Romney until the very end, even though he may be cruising to a relative easy victory.

Son, I am in no way a fan of Romney and have no intention of voting for him (In California my vote is pointless anyways), but you’re coming off as a complete asshole with your replies and self righteous gibberish.

You’re entitled to your opinion, and you’re also entitled to the feedback your opinion generates, and I would like to personally suggest you sit back and reflect upon exactly how you’ve been presenting yourself with your postings concerning Romney.

You may not be proud of yourself. But then again, perhaps you are, and if so that should tell you something and hopefully you will understand what I’m trying to get across.

/Rant over

The CNN poll doesn’t worry me, but Fox just had released a poll that has Mitt down by 9 points, which DOES worry me.
