My cousin’s son is in the National Guard. He says some of them are *very* concerned they could be ordered to fire on their fellow citizens.........uh, key word being *some*.

During the Cuban Missile Crisis, the veterans of WWII and Korea in the town where I live were notified there would be an automatic recall to duty and they would report to a certain person in town for orders.

My old man had served in the Pacific in WWII and had to sign a statement saying he would order troops to fire on American citizens if he was ordered to do so.

If it comes to a new civil war, it won’t be a case of the military firing at civilians.

It will be factions of the military firing at each other.

If there ever is an incident of the U.S. military killing Americans en masse, it won’t matter who they are. It will portend the finale of the American experiement, once and for all.
