Why are the college records, of a 51-year-old President of the United States, so important to keep secret? I think I know the answer.
If anyone should have questions about Obama’s record at Columbia University, it’s me. We both graduated (according to Obama) Columbia University, Class of ’83. We were both (according to Obama) Pre-Law and Political Science majors. And I thought I knew most everyone at Columbia. I certainly thought I’d heard of all of my fellow Political Science majors. But not Obama (or as he was known then- Barry Soetoro). I never met him. Never saw him. Never even heard of him. And none of the classmates that I knew at Columbia has ever met him, saw him, or heard of him.
But don’t take my word for it. The Wall Street Journal reported in 2008 that Fox News randomly called 400 of our Columbia classmates and never found one who had ever met Obama.

I’m a Columbia alum as well and I know that Columbia doesn’t accept transfers from colleges like Occidental without special reasons/circumstances.
I’m betting that his transfer application was made and granted on the basis of his claim to be a “foreign born” student. Columbia loves diversity in the student body and this would account for the approval of his application.
Further, there is an indication in his life story that Percy Sutton, a well-knowN black politician in NYC who was also Malcolm X’s attorney was his sponsor. How does a guy from Hawaii get support from a radical pol from NYC unless it was through radical connections such as FRank Marshal Davis, the Communist or Bill Ayers the radical Weatherman?
His non-appearance isn’t all that suspicious. At Columbia College there were always a few students who lived off campus and were virtual hermits without much interaction with the rest of the student body.
And when I went there you didn’t have to show up for class as long as you passed the course with a B- average. I signed up for two courses at the same hour my senior year so I wouldn’t have any classes past noon.

It galls me every time I hear the press repeat this assertion. I think even a lot of libs, if truly honest, would say that our President actually comes across as a bit of a jerk.

So true. For years, The alum sends me the monthly letters. Heck, even when I moved out of state, the alum folks somehow found me. They pounded me asking for donations . I never offered my new address. They somehow found me.
For me, I can name the kids that I competed with in college for the Suma Cum Laude. We all knew each other. (it was a fierce battle). We all worked to oust the other. Although brutal in a sense, college transcripts and college records were archived and public record. So, having said that, how in the heck can NOT ONE sole from Columbia or Harvard remember 0pansy.
I guarantee you, the kids that I competed with for the Suma Cum Laude remember my name to this very day. I know that I remember them (that was many years ago). perhaps Redshawk is a whacko. NOT. True stuff from Redshawk
Romney is stuck at dead center. This might move the poll needle: I think that Romney should SEAL his Federal and State Tax Records when he announces who his Veep will be.

Is it possible that the reason his records are sealed is that his “records” consist of a rejection letter? Probably, he got told that his grades are not the stuff Columbia is made of, because even the guys at the INS had that concern about his father. Furthermore, they could have looked at his financial aid transcript, seen how much he owes in student loans, and told him no way. Out on a limb, they could have discovered that all his radical and Arab patrons were dealing in counterfeit money from hawala as described in http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/2148751/posts. Probably, he never got in and never went; and his claim of attending Columbia is just one more fraud he is perpetrating on America to invent his intellect.
