Actually , US also do same thing. Every year they grade other countries on religious freedom. So this is Tit for Tat.
Grading on religious freedom is one thing, being outraged about 1 person going berzerk when it’s an anomaly is another. I do see your point in that the State Department and other org.’s list those things.
