Hi Lady Jag!

How are you today?

You’re right about analog speakers. There is something warmer and more “real world” about them.

The speakers that are still in use in our living room today are forty year old Optimus-5's from Radio Shack, back in the day when they had heavy nice looking wooden cabinets.

I had hung on to the receipt for many years, which was good, cause in my younger days I really cranked it up, and the lifetime warranty helped out with woofer replacements!

The receipt is long gone, but that's OK, since I just listen at low volume to Lawrence Welk and Mantovani (do I really need the sarcasm tag?). LOL

Warmer is the word for analog audio. Deeper, too, especially the bass; it’s purer.

Feeling better today than I thought I would. Throat is a little sore and pooped, having lost a lot of sleep over it.

Well that and a voice that doesn’t work except for occasional uncontrolled volume static.
