Here on the east side of Seattle, almost all the taxi cab drivers are Sikh.

Also of interest, we have thousands of Indian software programmers, so you frequently see Hindus being chauffeured around by Sikhs.

More than once I've thought of the humorous irony of two distinct ethnic groups emigrating 10,000 miles, only to be re-united with the same ethnic groups and same economic status in the USA.

Two distinct ethnic groups! Please read up on the history of Sikhism. Sikhs are Indian - mostly Punjabi Indians. Sikhism is a religion and not a separate ethnic group. The Brits used the Sikhs to divide and continue to rule India by playing the well-known martial abilities of the Sikhs against the Hindus. Sikhs are Indian. There simply is no such thing as a Sikh ethnic group.
