In retrospect, dead, it would have been better if I clarified my remarks regarding McCain. McCain's never been strong on economics/fiscal policy, although his policies would not be socialistic like Obama.
He would have approved the Keystone Pipeline, though.
His strong proclivity to "reaching across the aisle" would have resulted in a variety of bad deals on campaign finance reform, among others.
Our VP would have far better than Plugs.
I agree that John McCain is a big government hump, who leans towards the left side of moderate on too many issues. McCain would have supported many stupid things, like more bailouts and more government programs.
But I took offense to your statement John McCain likely would have been as bad as Obama because it is way over the top. His many left-leaning tendencies would never have lead to the sort constitution-stomping, global Marxist, kleptocratic assaults this worst president in human history has brought to this nation.
Some examples of the sorts of things John McCain would not have done as president:
- Sending thousands of guns to arm the drug gangs of our bordering nation, in an attempt to destroy the second amendment in this nation.
- Sending money, military assistance and arms to Muslim Brotherhood aligned rebels overthrowing secular totalitarian dictatorships in order to replace them with fundamentalist Islamic totalitarian dictatorships.
- Giving away $11 billion in taxpayer dollars to the shell companies of his campaign contributors under the cover of green energy
- Supporting the release of mass-murdering Lockerbie bomber Abdel Baset al-Megrahi
- Bowing down before Saudi kings to show his respect.
- Racializing the Justice Department, so investigations are predicated on the skin color of the perpetrators and/or victims of crimes.
The list could go on and on. McCains a boob, not a global Marxist traitor to his nation.
