I’ve been away for almost 42 years, and I haven’t “ditched” my southern accent. That would be almost blasphemous! lol I love getting under the locals’ skin, though there are many more who love my accent than don’t like it.
BTW, we still have a wonderful rep for our hospitality.
AIT, you need to git home, and git back to your roots before you cast any judgements. You, understandably, rely on the press too much.
PS Another photo of the perp, just as I predicted (the kind of person to do such a thing) before any details on the guy (the Wisc. perp) even came out, and then stepped all over somebody's ricebowl on account of it, of my expressing my intuitions before the fact--eventually proven correct. Sheesh.
