OAK CREEK, Wis. — In what the police called an act of domestic terrorism, a gunman opened fire in a Sikh temple here on Sunday, killing at least six worshipers and injuring three others before being shot and killed in the parking lot.

The rampage ended in a shootout with the police. The gunman ambushed one of the first officers who arrived at the temple, shooting him several times, before another officer killed him, the authorities said Sunday afternoon. The officer remained in critical condition at a nearby hospital, along with the other two shooting victims.

The police did not release any details about the gunman or a possible motive for the shooting.

John Edwards, the police chief in Oak Creek, said at a news conference that the F.B.I. would lead the investigation because the shootings were being treated as an act of domestic terrorism.

At least two dozen ambulances responded, including from Oak Creek, Caledonia, North Shore Fire, Greenfield and West Allis. Those ambulances had moved to the temple about 12:40 p.m.

As of about 3:45 p.m., the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office said it had not been called to the scene.

The Joint Terrorism Task Force, a collection of federal, state and local law enforcement, was on the scene of the shooting by 1 p.m. Those task forces, several of which are situated around the country, typically work quietly to prevent terrorism attacks but also respond to mass shootings to help coordinate law enforcement. Sources said it was too early to say if this will be considered an act of terrorism.

Was curious how the Feds responded so fast

They apparently got to the scene about 20 minutes after the Ambulances.

We now have Federal paramilitary forces set up that can be anywhere in the country in minutes to take over a situation and "help coordinate law enforcement".

They also take their orders from POTUS and US Attorney general.

In other words, American Gestapo.

The Aryan Brotherhood is the most likely group affiliation then. Heavily tattooed Hispanics don’t have the motivation and if he was a white supremacist he would have as much distain for Sikhs as any other “foreigner”. I’ll still wait for a name and house search to comment further. Ironic that the people he shot are more Aryan than he most likely.

I expect more of these ‘False Flag’ events, with less and less time between each,as we get closer to the election. They can’t achieve their goals untill they Take away our God Given Second Ammendment Right’s ( Which they won’t be able to take away ),but,to at least attempt that, they need a pretext.

Woman Says Her Son is Landlord of Gunman in Temple Shooting

As authorities searched a home in Cudahy Sunday evening believed to be the residence of the man who shot and killed six people at an Oak Creek Sikh temple, a woman whose son owns that home shed some light on the alleged shooter.

The mother of the suspect’s landlord told Patch Sunday she believed the man had “just broken up with his girlfriend.”

“He’s a renter,” said the woman, whom Patch is not identifying. “He’s new actually. He rented a room with my son.”

The woman said she is “completely freaked out” and that she believes her son found the man as a renter for his home in the 3700 block of E. Holmes Avenue “through an ad.”

“He lived with my son for three weeks, then the house across the street became empty, and he moved there,” she said.

Her son owns both houses, so he remained the man’s landlord, she said.

The suspect's landlord, who was also the suspect's roommate for several weeks, is the brother of a local suburban police detective.

She said that she doesn’t know much about the man, other than his first name, because she couldn’t reach her son Sunday night because he was being interviewed by the police on Sunday night.

“He called to tell me he was being questioned and wouldn’t be able to talk,” she said.

“He was quiet. He worked second shift,” she said of the alleged shooter, who has not been named by authorities. “They (her son and the shooter) both worked a lot, so they never got to see each other.”

She said she remembered the man had just broken up with his girlfriend because “he mentioned that to my son. Then he wanted to move on his own. So he moved to the duplex across the street.”

I have worked with the Sikhs on South Asian issues for a number of years. From my experience with them, I know this is being taken hard.

The authorities do not seem to be releasing very much information.

Let us hold this in prayer. I know it will be appreciated.

Excellent points, and people need to be aware of all the possibilities, and to look at history, seeing how often governments have engaged in violence and deception.

Another well written article.
The rampage ended in a shootout with the police. The gunman ambushed one of the first officers who arrived at the temple, shooting him several times, before another officer killed him, the authorities said Sunday afternoon.

Sounds like the second officer killed the first.

Where’s the dog?

I stand by my statement.

Killing anyone because they are of a different religion is wrong.

religions that believe they need to rid the earth of others is wrong. that was my point.

probably did not state my belief very well.
