“Extremes in heat and cold are buckling highways, railroads and runways. “

These maroons (a little Bugs bunny lingo) have discovered that we have summer and winter.

How arrogant of them. The state I live has 140 years of weather records so far. How shortsighted and uninformed to speculate that we have any idea of what “normal” is.

Please, let me translate this one.

What this means is that enough time has passed since the global warming farce discovered at the Climate Research Unit at England’s University of East Anglial that most people, if they paid any attention at all to the scandal in the first place, have now forgotten about it and we, in the media, can start pushing the farce again as truth.

It must be global warming....it’s been REALLY hot here the last two months, and.....uhhh, what’s that? I live in Mississippi, where it ALWAYS gets hot in July and August?....nevermind.

Sea levels could rise a foot by 2050

And I COULD get his by a falling piano while on my way to cash my lottery ticket.

Retrofits will take generations. The cost is incalculable. Imagine the cost of ignoring it.

Exceeded only by the cost of succumbing to discredited hysteria.

If the people who control the decisions and the purse strings continue to deny climate change, whether for politics or ignorance, a lot of folks will be left under water.

If the people who make the decisions elect to waste trillions defending against a fabricated bogeyman, a lot of countries are going to be left insolvent.

But I’ve never denied climate change. In fact, I’ve always stated climate change occurs regularly. For a period of about thirty years starting in the late 1940s, the climate in the northern U.S. cooled dramatically. By about 1980 the pattern reversed, and we are now in a period of slight warming. But if co2 affects the weather, why did the climate cool in the late forties when the U.S. was in the midst of a great post-war industrial expansion which spewed billions-trillions more co2 into the atmosphere than pre-war?

I’d willingly admit that climate has wiped out entire civilizations millions of years ago and probably more than once. So what? It is out of our control!!!!! We can’t change it.

I dont deny that earth climate is changing- it has endlessly or Manhhattan would still be under a mile of ice

However I do deny that man caused it or can stop it or slow it down by taxing the rich and turning our lands and seas into noise polluting humming buzzing windfarms

root cause is the sun, and/or internal thermal processes

I can’t wait for the first space comapny to discover “fossil fuels” on a moon or an exoplanet

The solution to all the problems of “climate change”, formerly known as “global warming”, is to invest a central government with the power to override the decisions of individuals in a free society and inflict solutions that come from brilliant, intellectual, intensely intelligent, atheist, non-Christian geniuses who will direct everything with the limitless abilities of their brilliant minds;
those who advocate “free market” solutions will be ground into dust by being discredited as bible-thumping,
gun-loving, knuckle-dragging morons.

IMHO

In related but unreported news, it has now been 2477 days since the last major (magnitude 3 or greater) hurricane has made landfall in the US. This shatters the previous record of 2231 days set 19 Oct 1906.

This calm period is caused by Global Warming, as would be a period of hurricane activity, and it's all Bush's fault.

*whinge* It's HOT! *whinge* There are so many STORMS! *whinge* Must be Global Warming, oops, I mean Climate Change!*whinge*

For heaven's sake, of course it's hot, that's called SUMMER! In a few months, it will be really COLD! And yes, there are lot of storms; there always have been, but it just SEEMS like there are more because we now see the coverage 24/7 thanks to Cable News channels. These storms aren't appreciably worse than the ones that occurred 50 years ago, it's just that there are now more buildings and humans in the way of them than there were 50 years ago, so there is a lot more damage left in their wakes.

So two years after the winter without a summer and record cold temperatures, we get this crap again?

In 2008 the Global Warming crowd claimed there would be NO sea ice at the arctic by the end of summer.

Sea levels could rise a foot by 2050, threatening coastlines worldwide

But they could also fall by a foot thereby creating a boom in beach front property worldwide. A$$hat$.

Or they could stay about the same which is what any sane person would expect.

Only the most gullible still believe in the climate hoax. This fish wrapper might sell it to the poor dolts who haven’t yet left Newark, but no informed person is still being fooled by the scam.
