Romney was my least favorite of all the republicans candidates this time around. I believe that his people probably put up a couple of the candidates with zero chance to win to split the conservative vote and allow him to win. True to form, conservatives could not agree on a candidate and it appears that Romney is it for the party. I’d be mad at Romney if it weren’t for the fact that conservatives are so easy to manipulate that I can’t fault him for doing so. I will vote for Romney over Obama and I will likely be happier doing it than I was voting for McCain. I am curious to see how many of the “conservatives” running this time end up in the Romney administration if he wins. I think that will be a good indicator of who was working with him.

The past two Presidential primaries have been a thorough joke and demonstrated a completely broken system. I’ve favored changing the entire process to having the grassroots draft candidates through a pre-convention rather than allowing the unacceptable or unqualified prima donnas to step forward. The fact that a handful of states at the beginning can dictate how it goes is outrageous and disenfranchises millions of Republican voters.
