I’m not “pimping” for anyone. I’ve already acknowledged that Romney cannot be confused/considered a conservative on many issues.
But I also trend in reality. Virgil Goode may be an upstanding conservative and a great guy to boot but he’s not a legitimate candidate for president, no matter how much you may think so or promote any pipe dream that the 2012 convention will be an 1800’s version of when the Whig party died.
We have two choices, Obama or Romney. Those are the facts whether you choose to accept them or not. If Goode or Santorum or Newt were strong enough (and I supported Santorum), they would have taken the nomination. You can’t like the process when you get a candidate you like and eschew the process when you get some you don’t like.
I already know what BO has done and he has said out loud what he intends to do. Enough for me to choose country over party and liberty over tyranny.
Rest on your principles. I’ll go out and attempt to get rid of the tyrant.
...and I know what Willard has done. You can vote for the Socialist if it doesn’t bother your conscience. I will vote for the Conservative Goode, unless the GOP smartens up and dumps Willard this month.
