the Paternos would like to appeal the ''enormous damage'' done to Penn State, the community, athletes and the late Hall of Fame coach.

I understand there are a number of young men who would like to appeal the enormous damage done to them when they were children - damage that Joe Paterno could have prevented. The Paternos might want to consider them, consider the fact that Joe Paterno might be facing a perjury indictment in connection with that issue if he were alive, and give it a rest.
