A personal note. I do not like the derogatory terms for gays used on a thread I post. Our side is better than that. Thanks.

Besides the word faggot is a good old fashioned word that means a bundle of sticks And for the record I don’t like the us of the word gay to mean homosexual because it use to be a perfectly good word.

As a peronal note. I do not like pontificating anti-moralist Speech Police who attempt to dictate the sort of language I can use to describe vile deviants. Our side is better than that. Thanks.

Are you saying that we should confine the terms we use to describe homosexual perverts to the single word "originally used to refer to feelings of being "carefree", "happy", or "bright and showy" that the sodomites have perverted, besmirched and stolen from the rest of us?

"'Gay' is OK..." Is that what you mean? Are you supporting the bastardization of a perfectly good adjective for immoral purposes?

IOW, what term is acceptable to you -- and why?

As a Christian I am commanded to hate the sin and love the sinner. I try my best to do this but sometimes fail. I welcome homosexuals to our church if they come to seek salvation, they are not however welcomed if their intent is to promote their deviancy. IMHO homosexuality is a sin, but it is far from being among the worst of sins I fully recognize that there are some who disagree.

No one is insulting their humanity -it is all about the activity they chose to engage in and promote. There is nothing good; nothing to be respected regarding faggotry. Calling 'them' gay is contributing to their delusion and self destruction.

I agree, I’m not happy with some of the comments either.

My father had a saying that he said has always proven true, and Mr. Smith would be well served to learn this: “It never pays to be mean to people.” Only my father used a different word instead of “mean”. LOL

He always told us that he was nice to customers, no matter what.

I’m sure Mr. Smith won’t be unemployed for very long.
