“We’re better than that.”
Folks here seem to like to throw that little cliche around. It’s always such a pissy, self-righteous statement, in my mind.
My stock answer is always, “I’m not.”
If you don’t like me or something I did, you can just say so. But don’t pretend to tell me who I am. You don’t even know me.
Ah, you probably are better than them. Come on, admit it. :) I’ve been to many FReeps over the years. Our side does not flip people off and use vile language in front of their kids. Our side does not leave trash all over the ground. Our side does not do damage to property. Our side does not urinate or even crap in the street. We really are better than them.
