Obama’s pals agitate for gun limitations
Democrats just couldn’t hold it together. With less than 100 days to go before the election, the left let slip its vision of a second term for President Obama that will be the end for the Second Amendment.
They’re riding on an emotional wave created by James Holmes, the suspected Aurora, Colo., movie-theater shooter who was charged with 24 counts of murder on Monday. As the courtroom proceedings in that case unfolded, Sen. Frank Lautenberg, New Jersey Democrat, and Rep. Carolyn McCarthy, New York Democrat, took to New York's city hall to introduce legislation making it much harder for law-abiding citizens nationwide to purchase ammunition.
The liberal duo would restrict ammunition sales to licensed dealers and require buyers to show a photo ID at the time of purchase, effectively banning people from doing their shopping online. Also, the dealer would have to maintain detailed records for each ammunition sale and report anyone purchasing over 1,000 rounds.
This is going back to the bad old days of 1960s-era gun-control laws, which banned mail-order sales of ammo and required logs to be kept. These restrictions did absolutely nothing to help law enforcement, as the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms admitted when Congress repealed those provisions in 1986.

So let me get this straight: The same guys trying to abolish my 2nd amendment right are saying that any measure to protect my 15th amendment right to vote makes me a racist?

I laugh everytime I hear politicians start talking about gun control legislation. You know who else laughs during their bouncy skip to the bank? Gun and ammunition manufacturers. (I regret I did not get into the weapons business).
Democrats are a gold mine for the firearms industry.
I’d bet $10 that there are many ammo-mags-gun-banning bills already drawn-up and ready-to-go on Nov 7th, if 0bummer wins and gets another 4yrs.
If it looks like he’s burnt-toast by Nov 4th, he’ll unleash another drawer full of EOs doing the same thing on Nov 5th, just before the Nov 6th GE. SHTF, in either case.
I agree. If he loses, he’ll do a few EO’s related to this and then when Romney gets in office, he’ll never have the courage to undo them.
America has a “plan” too. No 2nd term.
Our only real hope is that Republicants take a majority in the elections. The enemy we know is better than the enemy we don’t know. You all have to admit, democrats are out of their freaking minds and we don’t what the heck they are goign to try to pull out next! At least we know the repubs are spineless weasels, but if we hammer hard enough on them at least they will listen and get something right every now and then.
I’m pro-choice but believe a great tactic would be to link gun-issues with abortion:
Hey why don’t we have a special police force regulating abortion? Like creating and auditing permanent docs regarding who gets abortions...?
Docs would have to maintain docs, and technically they could be made to show them at any time.
Hey, it’s to keep it SAFE, right? It’s only reasonable.

Not at all. By us allowing the Libs to seize the press and colleges, we let this happen. Now, it may be too late to correct the mistake. OTOH, the pent-up fury of the tea party/conservatives may yet win the day in November.
If you don’t already have all the guns and ammo you need for when the SHTF, you are probably too late. To say nothing of food, water, first-aid supplies, tools, etc.

The least of my worries is 400-pound federal slobs showing up in my territory looking for a firefight.
Don’t these clowns understand that this legislation will do NOTHING to prevent mass shootings?
All a person has to do is going to five different stores, buy two hundred rounds at each, five days in a row, and they have five thousand rounds and no federal ABC outfit is the wiser.
