Adam Smith held an appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer, Finance (non-tenure eligible) in the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona from January 2, 2012, to May 20, 2012. He presently holds no appointment with the University.
The University of Arizona strives to provide an environment where a free and respectful exchange of ideas is valued and encouraged. We strive to have a workforce that is diverse and respectful of different viewpoints and where opinions are respected.

CFO (glorified bookkeeper?) hudddled in a backroom, out of the public's and employees' eye for good reason.
He wanted some recognition.

Because, as has been noted elsewhere, the First Amendment applies only to government action. There is no right to free speech on private property and there is no right to free speech that is injurious to an individual's private employer. That employer may choose to tolerate said speech but is under no legal obligation to do so.
There are plenty more like him at that school. The sodomite community knows it as a very desirable campus. They keep the godforsaken, desert institution viable.

That was an OUTSTANDING post.
Sex: Male
Current City: Tucson, Arizona
Interested In: Men
I thought he told the Chick-Fil-A associate that he WAS NOT a homosexual ... so why does it say he is interested in men on his Facebook page?
That may well be but Vante a medical device company where this turd was the CFO booted him after finding out about this little incident.
Don’t know about anyone else but this guy looks light in the loafers (as well as brains) to me
LOL. I’ll admit it’s one of those words I consistently brain-fart when typing on my (ancient tiny screened) BlackBerry. Dunno why. Just a thing...
When you get fired for cause, the state can deny you unemployment compensation. I’d be very surprised if he actually receives it once his employer points out why he was fired.
Believe it or not, even the federal government fires employees for electioneering in the workplace or via government equipment or gov’t vehicles. Those are violations of the Hatch Act. (Having a political Bumper sticker on your personal car in the Govt parking lot is OK). I’m not suggesting that the Democrats don’t violate the Hatch Act on a daily basis, but if some Kool-Aid drinker uses his govt computer to spam his co-workers with “Re-elect Obama” email, and it gets reported, that worker is going to get fired.
His bio and contact info were still on the school website through part of the day yesterday. I called the number listed for the bully and was told "he is not in today". Not a response I would expect for somebody whose contract expired 10 weeks ago.
Your link is broke
Hahaha...that jumped right out at me, too.
Bravo!
And their dismissal was upheld ...
I’m an adjunct and I sign a contract for the classes I teach on a per semester basis. I’m sure most other schools handle adjuncts in the same way.
It looks like the bozo only taught one class one time. I’d be surprised if he was offered anything in the upcoming Fall semester cause business school tend to run a bit more conservative than other areas. If he was teaching something in the humanities area, I’m sure he’d be welcomed back.
Seems like his association with UA ceased a little over a month ago.
The way I read it was he was contracted to lecture Spring term 2012.
In all likelhood he would have received a similar contract 2013. In betwixt time the University was carrying him on the faculty list as an adjunct lecturer - doesn't cost anything and gives both him and the Universty minor kudos.
Yesterday they deleted and distanced themselves from him.
