There’s a psychology working on some of us that we might not be aware of.
We can’t stand Romney because he’s such a RINO. I can relate.
But then comes the part where we start to fool ourselves. We get so emotional about hating Romney that we start to make it part of our identity.
During the primary I said “I’ll never vote for Romney!” So today, no matter how bad Obama’s corruption gets, I think I can’t possibly vote for Romney because if I do I will contradict what I said a few months ago.
Somehow, we feel this will betray that which is most important—our pride. But this is a lie, just another version of the Big Lie.
Me? I’m going to keep my pride in check, and keep the focus on God and country.
Barack Obama = nanny-statist, progressive, globalist, elitist, pro-abortion, socialized medicine pusher, soft-on-illegals, gun control advocate, who says whatever he needs to say at any given time, including falsely smearing his political opponents.
Is that what you’re opposing when you oppose Obama?
And you want me to vote for Romney because I’m against all those things?
And you think I’m fooling myself if I don’t?
