EquallyWed.com has proposed a National Starbucks Appreciation Day in direct response to the overwhelming national support at Chick-fil-A on Mike Huckabees Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day. Starbucks is on record for supporting marriage equality, and the LGBTQ community and its wonderful allies are ready to let its dollars speak for them on August 7, 2012 at Starbucks everywhere.

Their copy cat attempts remind me of their desparate “coffee party” reaction after we sent a million protestors to DC for a Tea Party.
You know liberals have jumped the shark with their sexual authorianism and they are having relapse nightmares. The same homo crowd were in charge of the femenazis. At that time they had “progressed” to classify children and all heterosexual love and sex as oppressive to women.

I appreciate Starbucks so much I’ve got an unused gift card in my wallet for the last two years and there are two locations within a 3 minute walk of my office.
I think we really are in a civil war here. 21st century style.
Never set foot in a starbucks yet and dang sure won’t now. I can drink coffee for a week for the cost of one cup there.
There were pictures of at least a couple of Wendy’s franchises with a sign out front (that kind with the movable letters — probably usually shows specials) reading “We stand with Chick-Fil-A.”
The homosexual bloc stands ready to do to Starbucks what they tried ignorantly to do to Chik-Fil-A. If they succeed in making Starbucks an overt Queer Mecca the chain’s available universe of customers will reduce to the homosexual and arts crowd. Stores will close in nonhomosexual areas- places outside of Massachusetts and California as business contracts. Starbucks will become a “niche” business as JC Penny and others are striving to do.
I don’t go to Starbucks. When I want to sit with a cup of coffee I go to the Waffle House. The atmosphere is much more pleasant. Wafflehouses and clones and wannabes are the modern incarnation of the old time diners. They have good basic coffee, no whipped cream and no cherries. And they don’t serve chai(chi? chay?) but if you want tea you can have that but if you don’t specify “hot” tea you get sweetened iced tea- it’s a southern thing.
I order online. Sign up for their mail list. They periodically offer a discount and/or free shipping.
I don’t think I’d care for the sweat tea.
I'll bet you're right...
At our local independent coffee shop, the owner calls Starbucks the BBCC (Burnt Bean Coffee Company).
And that sign was taken down shortly after it was posted. Wendy's corporate tweeted that one franchise owner had posted the sign and that it had been taken down. They ended their tweet with "We proudly serve ALL customers." They were clearly distancing themselves from their "rogue" franchisee.
I've been drinking half and half (half sweet with half unsweet) just to cut down on the sugar intake.
