Not all of the half-million plus people who reportedly visited Chick-fil-A restaurants on August 1st were there to support the company. There were a few folks who stopped by to protest the company. One such protester is Adam M Smith.
Mr. Smith is an Adjunct Lecturer at Eller College in Arizona and he also is the CFO of Vante, a catheter manufacturing company.
Apparently, Adam Smith is not a fan of the head of Chick-fil-A and he decided to let the company know how he felt. Smith sat in the drive through lane of a local franchise, intending to only order free water and give the company a piece of his mind.
In the video, initially titled Reduce $s to Chick-Fil-As Hate Groups these points are worth noting:
The college students that Smith sees off in the distance and speculates are getting ready to stage a sit-in, were most likely waiting to get into the movie theater they were standing in front of. He tells the young woman working the window, This is a horrible corporation with horrible values. He also goes out of his way to stress ,Im a nice guy, by the way totally heterosexual. Not a gay in me, I just cant stand the hate. Not long after Smith posted the video on YouTube, it was removed.
However, other web users had already spotted the clip, copied it and reposted it, citing the Freedom And Innovation Revitalizing United States Entrepreneurship Act of 2007.
We offer the re-posted video for your viewing pleasure.
“Not a gay in me,”
Oh great, he’s telling us he’s a “top”, lol.
We can hope.
Most of the places I've worked for have some sort of "Conduct Unbecoming" clause in their employee agreements. I've seen it used a few times, usually for people that couldn't keep their pants zipped when it came to other employees.
However, if what was exhibited in the video wasn't Unbecoming Conduct, I dunno what is. What kind of a grown man does that to a young girl?
I'd give her a job, in a heartbeat. Grace under pressure is a quality she has.
Wonder how many folks are going to make their own video in support of Rachael?
Or, they're making an "adjustment". :-)
When he could not provoke a response, he resorted to attacking her personally, with the goal of making her feel bad about herself.
I am sure he treats his employees and students in a similar manner.
Maybe Vante’s customers need to be made aware of the company value system and how they operate?
Not sure where to get that information.
Good. We need to keep up the pressure.
I sure would not want a catheter from a pro homosexual sex bunch of people. Is that why so many people end up with bacterial infections after having a catheter? Who knows where those catheters have been!
“Service Temporarily Unavailable.” LOL ...
They normally give a small cup of ice water, but the cost difference is minuscule. I love the people at this Chick Fil A.
Who are Vante’s competitors?
I might order some catheters. I don’t know what I’ll do with them, but....
I got to them by clicking through google, but couldn’t refresh. The first musta come from a google cache.
He is waiting for his Obama subsidies to kick in. He was reassured by Barney Frank back when he said that there was no housing bubble. You know, how could a queen lie?
As far as this Chik-Fil-A stunt is concerned, this is the amount of class you can expect through the rest of the year from the left. They are worried, their standard bearers had all of the reins of power and this is what they gave us. In spite of the polls, the smell of Democrats full of merde is growing.
The company is formally named Engineering & Research Associates Inc. but uses trade names - SEBRA, before, and now Vante.
The company was founded locally in 1974 by Loren Acker, who invented a patented system for using radio-frequency waves to precisely seal medical plastics such as tubing. Acker continues to serve on the company’s board and retains a substantial ownership stake in the company.
www.vante.com is the website of the hatemonger who berated an employee. This is his “catheter” company noted in the article, if anyone is interested in dropping him an email and telling him that if you’re ever in the catheter market you’ll avoid his company like the plague.
