Are they setting a stage for an October surprise?
I wouldn’t be too sure about that. An attack on iran would be just the kind of stunt owebama would pull around October 27 or so.
Bibi should give Obama a September surprise, just so he can’t make an October surprise. Short term, attacking Iran in September will not halt their nuclear program. It takes more than a few airstrikes to do that. But long term, it will ruin the October surprise, so that Obama gets his comeuppances in November, and then we can work with somebody sane and reasonable (Mitt is sane, isn’t he?) about stopping Iran’s nuclear ambitions for good and all.
It’s hard to make a nuclear weapon,
it’s harder without electricity.
So, we know Obama likes Muslims, even if he is no longer an outright believer. We know he bowed to the Saudi king. Do we know if his leaning is Shiite or Sunni? If the former, he’d rather Iran had the bomb; if the latter, he’d rather they didn’t.
Obama just announced that American “clandestine” forces will be engaged to fight the Syrian government. The “rebels” who we will now be openly supporting are very intolerant Islamic militants. Besieged Christians are actually being armed by the Assad government in a desperate attempt to survive this vicious onslaught. What a bizarre complex web is being weaved. Just wish someone in Congress would question the Administration since we are now an active player, just how Christian minority rights will be protected.
Yep he is giving al qaeda in Syria shoulder fired missiles. He is not going to attack Iran IMHO. He is arming the Islamists.
Possible scenaria:
1. The intolerant Islamists will be so grateful for America’s clandestine help that they’ll spare the Christian Syrians just because Hillary asks nicely (she will ask, won’t she?).
2. The intolerant Islamists will massacre all Christians, Allawists, and members of rival factions, but since it won’t happen on TV, America will ignore it and celebrate with Obama the triumph of demoncracy in Syria.
3. The Christians start leaving now, and live as refugees somewhere.

These are groups that are politically leftist in nature that use religion as a medium for fundraising and recruitment. Religious "sect" is less important to them than their special blend of internationalist leftism and base religion. They generally seek the overthrow of the Saudi Royal family and Hamas has offices in Iran.
One of Obama's campaign finance bundlers is Iranian. He was also sent to jail for fraud, ripping off banks.
Obama was associated through donations and land deals with Tony Rezko, a Syrian born guy who got into trouble alongside Governor Blago in Illinois. They've known each other since around the time of the Gulf War, 1990.
Obama's party crashers the salahis are also involved in pro-Palestinian causes.
Obama's bundler Jodie Evans is involved with Iran, smoozes Ahmadinejad.
Obama's radical left advisor Valerie Jarret is an American born to a US diplomat in Iran.
Another of Obama's aides was Asbahi, and that leads back to the group NAIT - which is how ISNA took over moderate mosques and radicalized them- then to fundraiding for Hamas. Asbahi had to resign over MBro ties.
IMHO, though, any enemy of the US is a friend of the american left.
