The dim doesn’t have a chance no matter who wins this..I think Cruz will win.
Cruz will hardly acknowledge the democrat in the general and will win in a breeze ...
Precincts Reporting: 981 out of 1064 precincts 92%
Candidate Votes Vote % Winner
Ted Cruz 298,119 53%
David Dewhurst 261,093 47%
Cruz has clobbered Dewhurst in Harris County (Houston)
I believe it is safe to say we have a brand new Tea Party Senator!!!!!
Paul Sadler is the projected loser in November.
U. S. Senator

It is a republican primary run off and Cruz looks to be cruising to victory. Dewhurst is an establishment rino and ran the most dishonest campaign I have ever seen. It really was detestable.
Good turnout, no thanks comming from Faux News to Free Pac rally last Thursday night in Dallas.
Not sure of the numbers without looking at the website. But remember Texas doesn’t register voters by party. The party affiliation is determined at the polling location when the voter chooses a ballot, republican or democratic. So they begin with the total number of register voters statewide then as the voters select a party or vote the % will change.
As far as knowing how many voted before the count is returned I’m not sure how they would come up with that as this is a county by county report not linked on a statewide computer. Not sure if what I’ve presented is accurate or even understandable.

That is a miracle in itself! Wow!
Looks like real clear is projecting Cruz
Texas GOP U.S. Senate (20%)
Candidates Votes Percent
Cruz 320,092 53.6
Dewhurst 276,629 46.4
In class 2, Blakly and LBJ were the last Democratic senators from Texas. LBJ stepped down to take the Veep slot under Kennedy, and Blakly was appointed to finish his term. 1961.
I don't expect any Dem to have a chance this year.

Hah..great minds think alike. I wonder how many other people did the same thing? The car in front of me in line had a boatload of kids and a catholic school decal on the back. Made my heart sore!
Cruz 325,061 53.6
Dewhurst 280,947 46.4
21% in....Cruz now projected a win!
Thank you, G-d!!! And THANK YOU, TEXAS!!!!
That must be only Harris County results as there are 7,957 Precincts state wide.
Still VERY good news id Dewhurst looses his home county by that margin!
Paging that insufferable troll Gnat Ngat or whatever name that Dewhurst campaign staffer had ..please stop by this thread and call us all idiots again ..thanks
