If we can see this through today, this will be a political earthquake, definitely bigger than Lugar’s defeat...on par with the Bob Bennett removal in 2010, but bigger because it is an actual statewide election in a big state with many media markets.

I agree. Dewhurst has spent boat loads of money and is fully backed by the GOPe including strong active support of the sitting governor Rick Perry. A defeat for Dewhurst would really show that the Tea Party is a force to be reckoned with.
I hope Cruz wins by more than 10 points. What a signal that would be.
