WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE TO ANYONE!
I still see that sign sometimes. Woe betide the poor shopkeeper who acts on it, especially at the expense of a politically preferred person.
We gave up the right to refuse service to customers back in '63.
