What if:
Bin Ladin was killed in an early strike during the Bush administration. He was declared alive to keep the war machine cranking. Obama was saving the ‘kill’ for a rainy day, such as when the phony Birth Cert was about to be called out in a presser. Had to bury bin Ladin at sea because the effects of deep freezing was visable. Seal team needed to disappear after they were used. Is this possible in the real world?

Special Forces operators, such as SEALs, are chosen for both their physical stamina/capacity AND their intelligence and analytical abilities.

There’s no way that the servicemen in SpecOps wouldn’t be able to quickly connect the dots if their own leadership set a bunch of their own up to die in order to keep inconvienient mission facts hidden, or that they would sit idly by and tolerate it.
