God has told us what to do. The correct choice is not to choose evil in the first place. The correct choice is to use your discernment to choose God's candidate (a hint: he's not either of the major two) and trust Him for the outcome win or lose.

Neither candidate is a social conservative; therefore neither can be God's choice since they do not reverence and obey God's expressed Word. If Romney is the nominee in November, I'll be voting against him. If I knew that my vote would determine the election, I would nonetheless vote against both Obama and Romney. I'll be voting for Tom Hoefling and I recommend him to folks who express resevations about supporting Obama or Romney.

I have enjoyed the posts by Diogenesis. Ask to see one of his posts featuring "Milt." I think you'll like it.

I do sense that Diogenesis might also be voting against Romney. Nevertheless, I think there's room for both you and Diogenesis at this website.

I don't think there is anything wrong with supporting or opposing Romney. I have no grudge against people who admire Romney and his liberal, flexible approach to all issues. On the other hand, I feel very sorry for people who feel ashamed of their support for Romney, but nevertheless support him because they are terrified by the prospect of having to live without Romney's leadership. That sounds very painful to me.

Romney has become a source of much division at this website. I try to remember that this election will all be over very soon. Once Romney is gone from the political scene, there will be many things over which we can find unity. I look forward to that. ;-)

This is NOT a republican site... it is a CONSERVATIVE site. The republican party of today is as progressive as the dims were during the carter years. The dims have become communists and worse. I don;t vote for progressives of any flavor. I am not voting for romney or obama. I have been active with the gop for 40 years... they have never embraced Conservatism. It is a myth that Reagan changed the party... he changed the Republic but the party only remained silent because they fear losing their money and power. Within a month of the progressive GHWB replacing Reagan... they were once again on the road to progressive action.

Reagan was not perfect... he did raise taxes on the promise of a 2 to 1 spending cut... never happened... and he did vote for amnesty and the Brady bill and signed a letter supporting an Assault Weapons Ban but in his later writings he recanted most of his mistakes. He saw the lies of the left in their broken promises and in their overreach. He learned that there can be no compromise with the evil of progressives... and he learned it the hard way. Now there are republican sites... this is not and has NEVER been one of them. This site is for the REAL DEAL Conservative... not for the NEW DEAL republican.

I have stated my position quite clearly and many times over the past few years. I refuse to attack anyone on voting for romney. I will point out why I think it will just perpetuate the republican march to replace the dim party, which is today an anti American communist party. I try not to get personal with anyone over this because for almost 40 years I thought the same way about the gop and how to change it (vote for the lesser evil today and force the gop to the right for the next election).

Well the leaders are not stupid... they are evil and they are leftists but they are not stupid. They control the primary elections and they control who will and will not appear on the ballot. We have acted in lock step like cattle being led to slaughter and for too many years. There will be no more unimportant elections. There will never be a worse time to confront the gop or a better time. If not now... when???

I am surrounded by the enemy... I have decided to stand and fight... and standing up for Conservatism and the return of our Constitutional Republic are my ONLY motivating factors.

I try not to hate... I love CHRIST and the FATHER and they do not want us to hate. But we can despise a person and their ideology and we can certainly fight them tooth and nail for control of the party. The only way to do that today is to elect as many REAL CONSERVATIVES to the republican House and Senate and to deny the gop/e their precious presidential Victory (if they do not take the Conservative base into the process). They have not done so to date and they show no willingness to do so. There are things that mitt and the gop could do to heal the rift... but they do not want to heal any rift... they actually want to purge us from the party to be replaced with illegal invaders, sodomites and welfare socialists.

My prayers are for Conservatives to wake up and unite behind our ideology and screw the party... they have been screwing us for decades. Not one single leader of the gop/e... not one leader in any position of leadership amongst elected republicans is a Conservative... with perhaps the exception of Jim Demint... and Jim has had his share of progressive moments too.

We all need to be less personal and more professional in our debating. Those that are true progressives should be shunned and shown the door... and thrown our of that door and straight into the street. It is obvious that the party is divided and it is not our fault... look to that rat bastard reince preibus and mitch mcconnell and john boehner and all of the turds that swirled in mccain's toilet bowl and now swim in mitt's toilet. The media will probably bring it up before the election to hopefully supress the Conservative vote. I would think most Conservatives already know about his previous stand on assault weapons, gay marriage, healthcare, to mention a few issues. It is still necessary to remove obama from the WH and a NO VOTE or vote for a third party will not accomplish this. We must turn out and vote Romney in November just as we would perform any other unplesant task, we should also work at not destroying the enthusisam that some prospective voters have. I am a conservative before I am a Republican and, since I am in the Republik of Kalifornia, my presidential vote doesn’t matter. I may well not vote for Romney. If I were in a toss up state, I would bite my tongue and very reluctantly vote for him. If he wins, we can protest him and hold his feet to the fire. If Obama wins, we have absolutely no influence with him.

Okay, look people, Gary Johnson is a libertarian. He is also the Libertarian Party's nominee for POTUS.

He is neither pro nor anti-abortion.
