Here in Corsicana, Texas, 56 miles south of Dallas, I see many military vehicles, tanks and such on flatbeds passing both west and east on Highway 31. However, since Fort Hood is west of me and the Army Maintenance & Repair Depot is east of me in Texarkana, I think nothing of it.

Also, we are bringing back vehicles that were in Iran, by way of Kuwait. Also, we are doing a draw down in Afghanistan so this may also be the cause. You have heard of Fort Knox Army Base, havent you??

I wonder if anyone has any idea of the number of cities, towns, and villages there are in the USA? The number I’m getting is a bit over 25,000 but I think the number may be considerably higher.

Just a little something to consider while we await the martial law that some are sure is coming. After all, how many soldiers does it take to control a city of 10 million and how many does it take to control 1000 towns of under 300?

The only time I ever see anything military around here is when they’re doing a flyover of the track on race weekend. I did encounter a couple guys in a military owned pickup one day and they just wanted to know where the hell they were at.
