Black helicopters, the big ones with dual rotors, are flying over Longview, Washington, towards the north often enough to be noticeable.

Those would be CH- or MH-47 Chinooks. And although I've seen some MH-47s (at publicly-accessible airshows, I'd add) a flat black MH-47 or two, from any sort of distance standard US Army Helo Drab (FS34031) looks black.

Actually they won’t seat us past 9:00PM at any restaraunt because of what goes on there past that time. Personally I prefer to have my children watch adults make asses of themselves. Puking in the gutter, showing off your boobs, swearing at every opportunity, and other disfunctional traits needs to be direct up close observational experiences in order to take the shine off the fun it’s all made out to be on HBO.

A few weeks ago, I spotted what appeared to be a pair of Nashorns on flatbeds. No markings on them, or I would have thought they were movie props. I didn’t think to count the wheels to see if they matched specs.

Personally I prefer to have my children watch adults make asses of themselves.

We saw a scattering of winos and other sordid types when we were kids, often followed by the inevitable "If you don't want to end up like that"...followed by the admonition du jour.

All good, and incentive to do our homework, brush our teeth, and at least try to keep ourselves on the straight and narrow path. At least we all avoided jail.
