Maryland Lt. Gov. Anthony G. Brown is donating $17,000 in contributions his campaign received from a D.C. contractor now at the center of a fundraising scandal in Washington embroiling D.C. Mayor Vincent C. Gray.
The move Thursday comes days after Gov. Martin OMalley donated $38,000 in donations tied to Jeffrey E. Thompson, while some but not all fellow prominent Democrats also moved to get rid of Thompson-linked cash.
Federal agents looking into campaign-finance wrongdoing in the District raided Mr. Thompsons offices and home earlier this year.

It’s easy to tell Mr. Brown ,our Lt. Governor is not racist.
PG County is 65% black and he donated the rest to black charities.Hundreds of charities he could have picked from,but he selects black charities.
PG County by the way is what kept Steny Hoyer in office last election.
More corruption by D.C.s black Mayor Gray. Now they tie Md.s black Lt. Governor into their corruption. D.C, has never had a white Mayor. PG Countys ,County Executive Jack Johnson is now serving his term in prison, his wife a County Commissioner was found with $80,000 dollars in graft money stuffed in her bra.
