I’m probably voting for this bastard because I hate the OTHER bastard in there right now so much. But EVERYBODY, REGARDLESS of whether or not you are voting for Romney, should contact this jerk’s office and tell him what you think of his ridiculous statements on the Second Amendment.

Hi Zulu.
I hold no ill will for those conservatives who have concluded that ABO is the way they have to go. I did that in the past, but not this time because of Romney’s pro-abortion, pro-homosexualism, pro big government health care, and pro-gun control history.
I strongly encourage you to contact his organization about his anti-2d amendment comments. Sometimes I think he’s trying to play to both sides, maybe sending subtle messages that he can deny, but that cause liberals to decide to support him. Who knows what goes on in his evaluating?
In any case, I appreciate your honesty and willingness to hold his feet to the fire.
If Romney gets worse or if you’re in a blue state, where there’s a snowball’s chance of his winning (California, for example) let me encourage you to vote for Virgil Goode, a lifelong conservative.
That would strengthen an alternative conservative party and would perhaps get the attention of the GOP-E.

Thank you, Zulu. I will certainly be a thorn in Romney's side. It will be a battle with or without success to even attempt holding a progressive liberal's feet to a conservative fire. But, that "R" behind his name says we must try, whether we anticipate success or not.
Most of the ABO folks I talk to are in the same boat as you -- so disgusted with Obama that anything else will do. Sometimes, however, when they see our do-over time frame is a decade away with Romney installed, and only four years away with Obama, or Paul, or Goode installed, they begin to feel otherwise. If you sincerely believe Romney's feet can be held to the fire, then your vote for him is not mis-cast, and I support your decision even if I disagree with it.
When I review Romney's history, I see a gun-grabbing, healthcare-rationing, baby-sacrificing, homosexual-advocating, bailout-providing liberal. He's spent his lifetime digging that rut, and I sincerely do not believe he will reform overnight just for having won this election. As such, I cannot support him. I find him woefully inadequate to represent conservatives, and I don't want to wait a decade and more for a do-over.
