Billy Wilder followed up "Some Like it Hot" with an absolutely bitter comedy-drama about infidelity. "The Apartment" from 1960 possesses one of the great emotional trips in all of film. Fred MacMurray was never better than when he was playing a total SOB.

Charles Williams scored an American film for once, and his song from the film complements it perfectly.

Speaking of Billy Wilder, his best film was “One Two Three” which featured “Sabre Dance” throughout the movie.
