Just did a quick search and found some of his writing:

Boris used to be one of the few sane voices in the UK regarding the issue of islam. He was one of those who demanded that muslims adapt to the English values and way of life.

Something has apparently happened to poor Boris. Here's a article that ponders if Boris has converted...Boris Johnson converts to Islam.

Sadly, there was a time when Boris said, "Islam is THE problem!"

Alas...
