I’d like to know how a Christian can sleep at night while promoting the second term of Obama - when people like John Bolton say that Obama is the most hostile president toward Israel ever.

If Obama gets re-elected - Israel will stand alone in the world - while the Muslim Brotherhood gets invitations to the White House & spouts their anti-Israel rhetoric with the co-operation of our president. I’m not sure what kind of ‘integrity’ it takes to turn your back on Israel, but I am damn sure that GOD does not want us to do it!

We’ve had pro-life presidents before - and abortion is STILL protected under Federal Law. But we’ve NEVER had an enemy of Israel as president - what kind of Christian enables that to happen?

And don’t give me that crap that the GOP-e has brought it on by forcing Romney on us - you don’t walk away from the battle just because you didn’t get your way - you fight to the death. Your Post #204 is great, Alice, but, EVERYONE NEEDS TO CHILL. We think, sometimes, that all of America has the mind-set that we FReepers have and they don't. 99.99 percent of America is not politically active and "radical" like the folks on here whose desire is to support Third Party candidates and give Obama another 4 years to destroy this nation. The Virgil Goode support in this nation is miniscule. He will be like every other fringe candidate come November. He might cost Romney VA, but he will pull a lot of Obama votes in VA also from his Democrat and Green Party friends. Besides, Romney can win without VA. So, everybody just chill.

Goode is not an enemy of Israel.

As for Israel, God is able to take care of Israel in the face of Obama. I know Obama is a mighty opponent for God, what with executive orders and all, but I’m betting God can take him at least 2 out of 3 rounds.

You actually raise an interesting theological question, though, alice, and it deserves a serious response.

Should we do evil by supporting an evil man(Romney) to bring about a good result (support for Israel)?

I think the Apostle Paul answers the question in Romans 3:8:

” 8 Why not say—as we are being slanderously reported as saying and as some claim that we say—”Let us do evil that good may result”? Their condemnation is deserved.”

As you can see, Paul thought that line of thought deserved to be condemned.

He is also the one who said “So, all Israel shall be saved.”
