I have to sympathize with Rush! I am just a year older than he is, and I forget the names of some of my students from just last semester. At least he remembered Jim's first name! :)
Jim got banned from CompuServe for posting to the Whitewater BB. That's Bulletin Board for the kids. And Jim can tell it much better, but as I recall, FR really came out of the Clinton opposition, starting with Whitewater. But including Mena Arkans drug running, Tyson Farms, Red Bone and a crooked Wall Street guy I eventually met that did those cattle futures. It was about a Clinton Trooper named Bill Shelton, and his ex-wife Karen. Rob Brown. Larry Lawrence and the violation of sacred ground. It brought down Dan Rather. And chronicled the break-up of the Shuttle Columbia.
