I don't mean to mislead by posting article from last year, but I wonder if this is still true. (His trial was delayed until August 20th, 2012) Did search and didn't see this previously posted.
I also wanted to mention how the media is silent about this, but yet has called for the execution of Staff Sgt. Robert Bales in the Afghan shooting and has also advocated gun control for the recent tragedy.
This Radical Islamist is still receiving benefits and payroll out of OUR pockets?!

I agree with you, yet until Hasan is Courts-Martialed and punishment comes back reducing/striping of rank and ordering the forfeiture of pay and allowances, Hasan, by regulation/law is still entitled to them.

Unfortunately, until he is convicted, Hassan will collect his full military pay...per Uniform Code of Military Justice
When he is convicted, he loses all that...he will be immediately busted to Private E1, and lose all his veterans benefits. Also, he will have to pay fines, and, I believe he will have to pay for some of the costs of confinement
