The Jim Henson Company Does Not Merely Provide Chick-a-fil with toys for the fast food chains kids meals.

They actually sell them.

The Jim Henson Company says it will be donating its final residual check from Chick-fil-A to the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation.

Revenues:

Chick a fil = $4 Billion +

Jim Henson = $6 million +

So a tiny little company that doesn’t make in a year what Chick a fil earns in a little over 8 hours is going to hurt?

Only getting hurt here is Henson and I guess if they can afford this kind of hit, well then by all means....have at it.

I think somebody put a gun to the heads of the Jim Henson Company. The muppet trademarks are now owned by a Disney subsidiary The Muppets Studio. I'm going to guess that somebody at Disney made it clear that being associated with a "homophobic" company would jeopardize their relationship with Disney.
