Just to avoid any rumors, Kristol was a campaign worker for Daniel Patrick Moynihan during his college years. He did not work for Carter. In fact, he worked for Reagan. He is also credited for killing HilliaryCare. I'm no Kristol fan, and fully agree with his characterization of himself as a squish, but he was not a democRat speech writer.
