Well, some of us consider him to be the true conservative. Real conservatives know that war is never easy nor quick, and that troops should never be sent for some policy wonk’s dreams of democracy among barbarians.

“Well, some of us consider him to be the true conservative.”

Then you are not a conservative yourself. Or can’t tell the difference. Either way, Ron Paul does NOT belong in the GOP. If you want a surrender monkey, 9-11 “truther” as POTUS you are free to vote for him. But you, and your ilk, would probably find a warmer reception over at the Huffington Post or DU then you will here.

Mainstream GOP will not vote for Ron “freaking” Paul (or the new darling “Rand”). Under ANY circumstances. Get used to that fact. If I was to get “Dr.” Paul a birthday present, you know what it would be? A full mental check up. (And the apple don’t fall far from the tree.)

If you want to vote for a liberal, fine. Go ahead. I have stated repeatedly that there is no way I will vote for
Romney. Not one chance in heck. Like most of the mainstream GOP I will simply stay home. But if you think for even one second I would vote for a mental patient like Ron Paul, you need to join him in delusion. (Most Paul supporters already fall into that delusion. That he has a SERIOUS chance to actually become president. I just shake my head in wonder).

You want to vote liberal, go ahead. But get over to DU where people will actually take your nonsense seriously.
