My sister,God bless her was Schizo.She was hired as a guard at a prison.She called me and said she was going to unlock all the cell doors cause they were Angels and needed to fly.
I had a good friend once who experienced a psychotic break after showing what in hindsight were signs of impending mental issues. He’d had a troubled childhood with a violent, unstable father, so it may have been hereditary.
His family were also strict Jehovah’s Witnesses, which he rebelled against. But, in the throes of his breakdown the JW came out, threatening people with myriads of angels who were going to drag them to hell, that sort of thing. I had to cut off all contact, he never really recovered, although he apparently still holds down a job and lives on his own.
