I don't know that there's "bias" so as much as an accounting of, gasp, some Republican brown-noser attended and attempted to hold Republican fundraisers, met Republicans in or running for office.
Objectively it's of no real import to the candidates or the party. Politically? You and the Democrats will make hay if perhaps from different angles. For you it's an opportunity to attack the LDS -and- Romney, for them it's an opportunity to attack Romney and other Republicans.
(And so in your first comment on this info, there’s zilch in the way of empathy or compassion or prayers on behalf of the rape victims...and unlike so many of the Holmes threads that had people condemning him in some way, you don’t condemn the accused rapist...does this mean you’re siding with the accused rapist?)
I made the mistake of stumbling into two of these threads. I was able to get the mods to delete my posts to the one thread, but forgot this one, so I’m getting sucked back in by the haters.
It’s best to ignore them.
There is bias in this story. Everytime something happens on it and its reported its “GOP activist” in the title and repeated over and over.
If someone holds a high profile position not in the LDS church then that is the title they wild hold on KSL or Deseret news. If their only title happens to be LDS then they might make a short mention of it but not as likely in the title.
