Kev ... I read that response. Are you a parent? If so, then you have experience with infants (one of the children is 4 months old). I don't go to the movies on a regular basis because of the
LOUD SOUND SYSTEMS. Perhaps, an adult, accustomed to this, could sleep (my adult daughter qualifies) .. but, an infant? Subjecting an infant to such LOUD sounds can have detrimental effects on their ear drums.
I repeat: What sort of parent would subject their young children to a situation that could have detrimental effects on their nervous systems?! Selfish parents, who are thinking only of themselves.

I think we've seen 3 movies at a theater (without the kids of course - all 8 and under) in the last 8 years. I can't imagine bringing an infant to a theater, for both health reasons and psychological ones (for the 4 yr old). If they were too cheap to pay for a sitter, this "dad" could have gone with buddies to the movie one night, and "mom" could have done the same the next night.
On another note, this will be quite a story in that family for years and years to come. What a badge of shame - rightfully deserved, to have to carry around from hereonout. He will always be that "guy/brother/son/friend who deserted his family during the movie theater shooting". Check out the rest of his pics on the myspace page.
