Suspect In Colo. Theater Massacre Graduated From UC Riverside In 2010

(LOS ANGELES) — CBS2 has confirmed that the suspect in Friday morning’s
shooting massacre at an Aurora, Colo., movie theater graduated from UC Riverside.

According to the university’s online alumni directory, James Holmes graduated 2010 with
a degree in neuroscience.

“The University of Colorado Denver|Aschutz Medical Campus can confirm that Mr. James Holmes
was in the process of withdrawing from the University of Colorado Denver’s graduate
program in neurosciences,” the university said in a statement.

Shooter Described As ‘Nice Guy’ Who Was Struggling In Job Hunt

Neighbors of James Holmes’ parents in San Diego are describing him as a “nice guy” who has been struggling in his efforts to find a job, Rancho Bernardo Patch reports. Holmes, who grew up in San Diego, is suspected to have been bullied in school and did not have a record of criminal activity in California, according to the neighbors.

Fox News said earlier the weapon were obtained illegally. Perp did not have a license to purchase the weapons per what heard and read. Is this report not accurate and the perp did purchase the weapons, or did someone else purchase the weapons or is this not known at this time?
